Join our team for the FY2025 Computer Upgrade Initiative. This role involves setting up and maintaining PCs and laptops across offices.

Key Duties:

  • Set up and customize new computers
  • Install City-specific software
  • Verify proper setup before and after installation
  • Provide on-site tech support
  • Assist with daily IT issues and project-related queries
  • Fix hardware and software problems
  • Update project teams on progress
  • Keep detailed records of IT requests and solutions
  • Manage user accounts and permissions
  • Use IT management tools to track assets
  • Liaise with vendors and other tech staff
  • Train non-tech staff and guide interns

Must-Have Skills:

  • 1+ year in IT support, including hardware, software, and networking
  • Strong problem-solving and people skills
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented
  • Proficient with computer setup and software deployment
  • Experienced in tech support best practices
  • Skilled in diagnosing PC issues
  • Basic network troubleshooting knowledge
